Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. TCS TERMS OF SERVICE
Every Message Board on the Internet has a set of rules that govern the participation of its members. TCS is no different. These rules, "Terms of Service" (or TOS), are listed below. Please read and familiarize yourself with them so that you will know what is and what is not acceptable participation on TCS.
All of us are judged by our words online, so we don't allow obscene, racist, sexually explicit or indecent language. Personal attacks, name-calling or flame baiting, (posting for the sole purpose of inflaming another poster) is not permitted. We reserve the right to remove posts that are abusive, hateful, hostile, harassing, threatening, defamatory, insulting or otherwise objectionable. If you bash another poster, first time offense, you will be given a warning. If you bash anyone again, your membership will be closed. Our rule is simple: There are no "time outs" given at TCS. Once evicted, there is no revolving door. No amount of pleading will change the decision.
We also reserve the right to remove posts that are off-topic, political in nature or directed at any specific religious organization. Crimes involving politicians or religious leaders can be discussed but must be limited to the actual crime, case or eventual trial.
We reserve the right to remove any post or user from our message board — although we have no duty to do so. When posts are removed, it's usually because they violate one or more of our house rules.
We also reserve the right to terminate your access for any reason, including, but not limited to, violating the letter or spirit of the TOS.
Further, you agree that TCS shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access.
The use of these boards for solicitation of funds for charitable, personal or any other purpose will result in immediate closing of your membership. TCS strongly encourages any member who has been solicited by post, private message, e-mail, mail or telephone to report such violation of the TOS to admin promptly.
Posting of a personal website link for the purposes of advertising crafts or hobbies from which an income is earned (unless expressed consent is given by TCS Administrators) is prohibited. For questions regarding this, contact TCS admin.
If you are having an issue with a member of another message board, leave it there. We neither want nor need problems from other boards brought to TCS. And the reverse also applies - since TCS is a private forum, what is shared in TCS, stays in TCS. Taking information from this private board and posting it elsewhere on the net is also cause for immediate closure of your membership.
It is against the TOS to let anyone else use your member name to log onto the forum. Doing so is cause for immediate closure of your membership.
TCS will inactivate accounts of members who have not visited the forum in a thirty-day period. You may easily reactivate your membership by visiting the Inactive Member Notice thread and posting a message requesting your membership be reinstated.
Decisions regarding the management of the board are made by consensus of the Admin team. Please do not argue with the volunteer staff or complain about the rules on the board. If you have a question or complaint, please use the pm system to contact any member of the Admin team.
You participate at your own risk on any/all forms of the Internet. The responsibility for postings under your username and use of the information provided here is yours, and is done at your own risk. TCS takes no responsibility for the content or opinions posted here.
Please keep these rules in mind as you use our message board. Thanks for participating.
